2024 Aluminum Thick Plate

The latest biomimetic composite technology developed by the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, further elevates it to a new type of material combining high strength and high corrosion resistance, significantly reducing the corrosion rate in acidic and alkaline environments.

Furthermore, its excellent machinability allows for easy processing of complex materials such as cutting, drilling, and welding, further expanding its application scope.

A wide range of thicknesses and superior performance make 2024 aluminum plates shine in numerous fields. In industrial manufacturing, 6.35mm-25mm thicknesses are widely used in new energy vehicle body structures, engine mounts, and other components. Tesla, Ford, and other automakers use it as a core material for lightweighting, improving body strength while reducing energy consumption.

In aerospace, 12.5mm-50mm thicknesses are commonly used in critical load-bearing structures such as aircraft fuselage frames and wing spars. Their high strength and lightweight advantages directly improve flight safety and economy.

In construction, 6mm-12mm thicknesses, with their good shapeability and weather resistance, are ideal for large stadium curtain walls and decorative components, combining aesthetics and structural stability.

In shipbuilding, 25mm-80mm thicknesses can be used in hull structural components, effectively reducing ship weight and improving resistance to seawater corrosion, meeting the environmental requirements of the International Maritime Organization.
