The manufacturing process of the prefinished aluminum coil includes four major steps: pretreatment, paint coating, heating, and exhaust gas recovery. Lets have a look together.
Pre-treatment
The pretreatment technology is produced with the production of coating technology. It serves the coating technology and lays the foundation for the preparation of excellent coatings. It is for getting a clean aluminum roll.
The pretreatment section mainly includes several processes of hot alkali degreasing, hot water cleaning, chemical treatment and passivation treatment. The hot alkaline degreasing process is generally divided into two steps to ensure that the substrate surface is cleaned.
Hot water cleaning is mainly to clean the residual degreaser on the surface of the substrate.The hardness of the water used should not be too high, otherwise, the minerals in the water will generate mineral spots on the surface of the substrate.
Passivation treatment is to make the passivation agent form a conversion film on the surface of the substrate through pressure spraying, dipping or roller coating.
Painting method
Coating is the core part of the production line. The main equipment includes a roller coater and a drying tunnel. Roller coater is a kind of equipment that uses rollers to coat paint on aluminum coil.
Generally, the coating process of pre-coated aluminum coil can be divided into three coating processes, two coating processes and single coating processes according to the number of coating layers.
Heating method of the production line
It mainly uses natural gas, coal gas and other fuels. This method is mainly economical, and the other point is that the exhaust gas in the production process can be recycled. Electric heating is also used. It has many advantages such as convenience and high efficiency.
Recovery of exhaust gas
Since most of the paints currently used contain a certain amount of organic solvents, exhaust gas is inevitably produced during the production process. At present, the method of incineration is generally used to treat the exhaust gas.
