What Is 3003 and 6061 Aluminum
3003 aluminum is a common kind of Al-Mn Series Alloy, which is of good anti-rust property. Temper O and H is the common two tempers while 3003-H14 is the most popular kind among 3003 aluminum alloys.
6061 aluminum is an Al-Mg-Si alloy with medium strength, good plasticity and excellent corrosion resistance. The common tempers of 6061 aluminum plate is T6, F, O. 6061-T6 aluminum sheet is more popular.

2. Good bendable property
Top 3 aluminum alloys for bending is 3003, 5052 and 6061. In most cases, 3003 aluminum is probably the best alloy for bending. It can take a dead sharp bend without cracking.
6061 aluminum is also suitable for bending, but its bending ability will decrease when you move to T4 and T6 tempers. My recommendation therefore is to bend in T4 condition and then heat treat to T6 if this is possible.
The Differences
1. Processing Crafts
H14 aluminum is an alloy that is not heat treatable and can only develop strength from cold working. Aluminum 6061-T6 is solution heat treated and artificially aged.
2. Strength
Since 6061-t6 aluminum is solution heat treated, it is almost as strong as mild steel. Although 3003 is about 20% stronger than pure aluminum, it is noticeably weaker than 6061.
3. Anodization Effect
Since the color is not uniform after anodiztion,3003 aluminum is generally not performed. 6061 aluminum sheet can be anodized and colored, which is very suitable for building decoration materials.
