The hardness of the aluminum alloy strip will be a little better. Generally, it can be bent with a semi-hard aluminum strips such as 3003, 3005, and 5052. The hardness of 6061,2024 and 7075 aluminum strips is too high to bend, especially in the T6 state. You should not bend it unless you heat it.
Whether the aluminum strip is bendable is also related to the bend angle. Solution-treated aluminum strip such as 6061-T6 or aluminum strips with high magnesium content(5083-h112) are easy to crack when they are bent due to excessive hardness and can only be bent at R angles, not 90 degrees or at the edges.
