3004 Round Metal Circles
Aluminum round metal circles are used for making cookers, lamps, traffic signs, etc. The thickness range is generally 1.0mm-5.0mm, the diameter is 30mm-200mm, including 1060, 1100, 3003, 3004 and other alloys, and the tempers are H24, H22, O, and H18.
Due to the injection of aluminum and manganese elements, the hardness and strength of 3003 aluminum discs are about 10% higher than those of 1100 and 1060 aluminum discs. 5052 aluminum discs have good forming and processing performance, corrosion resistance, weldability, and medium strength, making it ideal for yacht oil hatch cover.
Generally, the most common aluminum round sheets are mainly 1050-0 or 1050 semi-hard. In this state, stamping and spinning in the later production process will not crack. Electrical appliances, pots, etc. produced by discs have good heat dissipation, no rust, light material and long service life.
Many countries use graphic markings, or simplify and standardize to promote international tourism, reduce obstacles caused by differences in the two languages, and thus improve traffic safety. Generally, 1060, 3003 and 3004 aluminum circle is used for the making of traffic signs.
The main component of 3003 alloy is manganese, also known as aluminum-manganese alloy; while the main components of 3004 are manganese and magnesium, which is a true aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy. The strength of 3004 is higher than that of 3003, and the price is also higher than that of 3003.
The thickness of the aluminum disc is determined according to the specific use requirements. The first thing to consider is the mechanical performance requirements of the aluminum disc. The bearing capacity, strength and other mechanical properties of aluminum discs of different thicknesses are different. Secondly, the processing technology of the aluminum disc needs to be considered.
Aluminum discs need to undergo a series of quality inspections before use. The quality inspection process for aluminum discs includes appearance inspection, size inspection, chemical composition analysis, mechanical property test, corrosion resistance test and non-destructive testing.
