The Manufacturing Process of Aluminum Strip for Shutter

The shutter not only effectively prevent the interference and infringement of the ultraviolet rays, but also their unique shape can beautify the indoor environment. The aluminum shutter has better performances such as beautiful appearance, durability and high recyclability.

However, with the continuous improvement of people's requirements for interior decoration materials, the aluminum strip for shutter has some defects such as low dimensional accuracy, poor shape quality, poor forming performance,etc. The manufacturing process of the aluminum strip stock has been improved.

There is one of its manufacturing process:

1. Alloy elements: copper: 2.8-6.8%, magnesium: 2.0-2.5%, iron: 1.0-2.2%, pick: 0•20-0.25%, manganese: 1-5-1.8%, Iron: 0.05-0.15%, silicon: 0.05-0.15%, nickel: 0.3-0.4% and selenium: 7.5-9.08%, the rest is aluminum.

2. The raw material will be added to the melting furnace and pass through melting, refining, removing slag and stirring at a temperature of 720-780℃. Then we can get the molten aluminum that enters a standing furnace later.

3. At a temperature of 690-750 ℃, use the external refining device and the refiner adding device to add a specified proportion of titanium to the aluminum liquid and then burn it into aluminum ingot.

4. The ingot is subjected to homogenization annealing after sawing and milling, the annealing temperature is 420-50 °C, and the holding time is 10-18 hours.

5. It will be processed into is made into a 5.0-5.5mm thick aluminum plate.

6. Put the 5.0-5.5mm thick plates in an annealing furnace at a temperature of 340-400°C, take it out after 2-4 hours, and cool to the normal temperature.

7. The 5.0-5.5mm thick plate will be processed into a 1.0-1.3mm thick plate on a cold rolling mill.

8. Put the 1.0-1.3 mm thick plate in an annealing furnace for intermediate annealing. The annealing temperature is 300-380°C . The sheet is taken out after being kept at the temperature for 2-5 hours and cooled to room temperature.

9. The 1.0-1.3 mm thick plate will be further processed into the 0.13-0.18 mm aluminum strip on a cold rolling mill.

10. The 0.13-0.18 mm aluminum strip is stretched and straightened on a straightening machine to make its shape meet the specified requirements.

11. Put the aluminum strips of 0.13-0.18mm in a heat treatment furnace and keep it at a temperature of 90-150°C for 4-8 hours to remove the internal stress of the material.

12. Slit the 0.13-0.18 mm aluminum strip into the required specifications to obtain the aluminum strip stock for the shutter. As an experienced aluminum strip roll manufacturer, Haomei Aluminum has complete specifications for different uses.
